Answer:

(X + 1)² + (Y - 1)² = 9

Explanation:

Given as the center of circle as ( -1, 1) and radius as 3 unit

Now standard equation of circle with center and radius is

(X - a)² + (Y - b)² = r² , where center is (a ,b) with radius r

so, (X + 1)² + (Y - 1)² = 3²

Or, (X + 1)² + (Y - 1)² = 9 Hence this is required circle equation . Answer
