There was 90 runners in the first half 2/5 dropped out I the second half 2/3 dropped out how many finished the race

18 Runners finished the race

Explanation:

Given in question

Number of runners taken part in race = 90

Now in first half ,
(2)/(5) drpped

i.e
90times((2)/(5) ) = 36

so left runners in first half = 90- 36 = 54

again in second half 54 runners are there, but of them again
(2)/(3) dropped

So,
54 times((2)/(3) ) = 36

Thus runner left in second half = 54 -36 = 18

Hence the number of runner finished the race = 18 Answer
