Answer:

X = 0

Explanation:

Given points of line as (2 , 4) and (X , 8)

And slop of line ( M )= -2

Now X and Y co-ordinates can be written as

X1 = 2 X2= X

Y1 = 4 Y2 = 8

Now as we know

slop =
(Y2 - Y1)/(X2 - X1)

Or, -2 =
(8 - 4)/(X  -2)

Or, -2 =
(4)/(X - 2)

Or, (-2)× (X - 2) = 4

Or, X - 2= -2

∴ X =-2 +2

so, X = 0 Answer
