f(x) = x(x+2)(x-4)

Explanation:

When you set the components equal to 0, you will get your zeros.

ie. x+2=0; solving for x will get you -2 & x-4=0; solving for x gives you 4

After you expand the polynomial, you will get a degree of 3,
