Given in question as

Marcus want to calculate Train speed , covering distance of 0.5 mile in 6 min

Now as we know that Speed =
(Distance)/(Time)

Let take this as S1 =
(D1)/(T1)

S1 =
(0.5)/(6) mile per min

S1 =
(60)/(12) mile per hour

Note 1 hour = 60 min

So, S1 = 5 mile per hour

Now , Sanjay want to calculate the Train speed , covering distance of 6 mile in 0.5 hour

Let take S2 =
(SD2)/(T2)

S2 =
(6)/(0.5)

S2 = 12 mile per hour

Hence We can say that Sanjay calculate more Train speed than Marcus .
