5 - (-3) = 5 + 3 = 8

m = 5/8

Next you will use the point slope form equation.

Adding first point:

Adding second point:

3 - (-2) = m( 5 - (-3) )

Adding slope:

3 + 2 = 5/8( 5+3 )

Solving sides / Check:

3 + 2 = 5/8( 8 )
