Answer:

x=4

Explanation:

2x+8=16

then you want to put all the variables on one side (the x's), and the constants on another(the 8 and the 16)

2x+8=16

-8 -8

2x=8

ok so now you want to divide 2x by 2 because you want to find x and you want end up with just x on one side and a constant on the other

2x=8

/2 /2

x=4

And there is your answer: x=4!!!!!
