Question

Story Plot- Help PLEAAASE 10 points and i only have 14 left altogether.

I have homework in which i have to write a victorian crime+punishment story.
except i dont know what plot to doooo. I want to do somebody getting hung. But i just dont know.

please give me two ideas. both with a beginning middle and end

1) A poor man has to stealthily steal food for his starving wife and child, gets caught, goes through trialing, and is hung for a minor offense. You can describe the wronging or how cruel this treatment/punishment was.

2) Go for a full out murderer or serial killer with a dark past. Could be fun to describe the emotional pain of their crimes. He/She is caught some how and is immediately sentenced to being hung. Some how it is rigged perhaps by a worker to punish the killer, to torture him.

I don't know, just some thoughts ;)
