Answer: The mean absolute deviation of the data set is 8.8125

Explanation:

First find the mean of the data by adding all data points together then divide by the number of data points. 5.00+7.50+8.25+8.00+9.75+10.25+11.00+10.75=70.5

70.5÷8=8.8125

Secondly, find the absolute value of the mean. In short, the absolute value of any number is the same number but positive.
