More than obedience was mental pressure because the Nazi commander give them the order to kill (shoot) the jewish they (the batallion soldiers) were older mans and they had their own families so to motivate them (because clearly it was not a easy command) the commandment said "remember the kids and womans died because of the allies bombs" to convinced them for this reason they obeyed. 11 of the 50 mans of the batallion decided to not participate but the other does.
