Jay draws a square with a side length of 4 inches. Ray draws a square with side length of 6 inches. What is the difference in the area of the square?

I am not completely positive on the answer but my best guess is 8.

Explanation:

If Jay draws a square with a side length of 4 and you multiply it by the square's 4 sides then it = 16. Ray draws a square with a side length of 6 and you multiply that by the square's 4 sides it = 24. If you multiply the two products the solution = 8.
