Finding domain and range of a function form a graph:

X-axis = domain
Y-axis = range

To find a range, focus on your y-axis. Find the lowest y-value you see on the graph (which is -4), then find the highest y-value you see and that’s 8. Therefore the range is (-4,8)

If you want to find a domain, do the same thing but with x-values.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

The range is a set of y - values in which the function is defined. Unlike other functions, the range and domain of the cubic functions are usually defined. Therefore the range for this cubic function is :

Range = y: yER

(E is the mathematical symbol for 'member' and R for 'Real number' , apologies for the symbols)

So the range is said as y is a member of all real numbers. That is, as the values of x increases towards positive and negative infinity, the values of y also increases towards positive and negative infinity.
