Answer:

Brian:15, Malachy:90, paul:45

Explanation:

X= brian=15

Y=malachy=2ω=6x=90

Ω= paul=3x=45

6x+3x+x=150

10x=150

X=150:10

X=15

Answer:

If Brian gets X

Paul gets three times as much as Brian which will be 3X

Malachy gets twice as much as Paul that will be 2× 3X = 6X

X + 3X + 6X = 150

10X = 150

Dividing both sides by 10

We have X = 15

To calculate Malachy's share which is 6X

6 × 15 = 90

Malachy gets £90
