Describe Cohesion and its importance to being a property of water

Answer:

Cohesion is when particles are sticking together of the same substance.

What makes this property of water important is because it help's plants or living organisms, and when waters gets pulled out from the roots it lets cohesion to allow the water molecules to stick together

Answer:

Cohesion allows for the development of surface tension, the capacity of a substance to withstand being ruptured when placed under tension or stress. This is also why water forms droplets when placed on a dry surface rather than being flattened out by gravity.
