1-Civil Liberties- the right of people to basic freedoms and to live without the government becoming involved in private matters.

2-Civil liberties provided for by the Bill of Rights.

The right to free speech, free exercise of religion, and to freely assemble. The right to be free of unreasonable searches and seizures. The right to a speedy trial, by an impartial jury, and the right to an attorney.
