Answer:

The numbers are 30 and 110

Explanation:

Let

x ----> the first number

y ----> the second number

we know that

(x)/(y)=(3)/(11)

x=(3)/(11)y -----> equation A

(x+y)-5=135 ----> equation B

substitute equation A in equation B and solve for y

((3)/(11)y+y)-5=135

(14)/(11)y=135+5

(14)/(11)y=140

y=140(11)/14\\y=110

Find the value of x

x=(3)/(11)110=30

therefore

The numbers are 30 and 110
