Answer and Explanation:

Viruses do not require nutrients.

Viruses are made of RNA or DNA.

Viruses have a protein coat.

The viruses are made up of capsid that protects the genetic material. They have either the DNA or RNA type of genetic material. Viruses are dependent on the host for survival therefore do not require nutrients for survival and do not increase in biomass like bacteria. Bacteria are visible through a light microscope while viruses can only be seen through an electron microscope therefore viruses are smaller than bacteria. The viruses only replicate inside the host cell.
