We do a long division

4 x² - 3 x - 6

2x² + 0x + 3 ) 8 x⁴ - 6 x³ + 0 x² + 0 x + 2

8 x⁴ + 0 x³ + 12 x²

- 6 x³ - 12 x² + 0 x + 2

- 6 x³ + 12 x² - 9 x

- 12 x² + 9 x + 2

- 12 x² + 0 x - 18

9 x + 20

Standard

\boldsymbol{\sf{(8x^(4)-6x^(3)+2 )/(2x^(2) +3)=\boxed{\bf{\red{4}}}x^(2)-\boxed{\bf{\purple{3}}}x-\boxed{\bf{\blue{6} }}+\boxed{\bf{\green{(9x+20)/(2x^(2) +3) }}} }}

Quotient

4x² - 3x - 6

Remainder

20 + 9x
