(f \circ \: g)(x) = f( - 4x + 7)


(f \circ \: g)(x)= 3( - 4x + 7) + 5


(f \circ \: g)(x) = -12x + 21+5


(f \circ \: g)(x) = -12x + 26

We now substitute x=-4 to obtain:


(f \circ \: g)( - 4) = -12 * - 4+ 21+ 5


(f \circ \: g)( - 4) = 48+ 26 = 74

The required value is 74
