HELP ASAP WROTH 20 POINTS How did Americans establish governments as they went from being British colonies to independent states?

A) Americans in some states created alliances with their neighbors, thus forming regional confederations that were governed by regional constitutions and an elected prime minister.

B) Americans in the largest states created their own constitutions, while those in smaller states maintained the systems of government that they’d used while under British rule.

C) Americans in all states developed a single constitution that established identical governments in every state, appointed governors, and created a nationwide judicial system.

D) Americans in each state devised state constitutions that established bicameral legislatures, laid out rules for choosing state governors, and set up a system of state courts.

Answer:

I think the answer was A

Step-by-step explanation:

I think this because non of the states had the same laws, they all governed themselves until they became United. 2 It doesn't make sense for smaller states to stick to British rules and methods if they left for that reason. 3 they didn't have court systems yet so that's out of the question.
