  1. First find the costs per tuna.
  • In Store A: 8 cans cost $7.20. To find the cost of 1 can you have to do $7.20/8 which is 90 cents or $0.90
  • In store B; 6 cans cost $5.10. To find the cost of 1 can do $5.10/6 which is 85 cents or $0.85.

Therefore store B is cheaper, and to find the difference cost: Do the larger cost minus the smaller: 90 cents-85 cents= 5 cents or $0.05 as the difference cost
