10x + 36 - 38x - 47

how do i do this pls explain

Answer:

well first off you would add like terms together

so 10x and -38x would be added together which would be -28x

then you would do the same for 36 and -47 which would be -11

so your answer would be -28x-11

any number with coefficients go first. so basically anything with the same coefficients you put together.

Explanation:

If you want it simplified. Then adding like terms is the first step.

10x + -38x = -28x

Then simplify constants

36 - 47 = -11

-28x + -11 or -28x - 11
