1) Multiply both sides of the equation by 3:

-9+r=-15

2) Add 9 to both sides:

r=-6

1) In step 1 when I multiplied both sides of the equation by 3, don't forget you also have to multiply -3 by 3 because it is not part of the fraction (which is how I got -9)
