Answer:

For me personally, I can enjoy reading assignments.

Step-by-step explanation:

It all depends on what I am reading. If it is something that interests me, or I agree with, then I will enjoy it a whole lot more. For example, I enjoy American History. So, a reading assignment on WW2, Civil war, or some western history something similar would not be bad. However, if I had to read something like poems, or some left-wing political something, or even anything past the 1800's especially if it is not pertaining to the U.S.A, I will not find it interesting. And I could not possible be interested in it. So yes, I can be interested in reading assignments, all depends on what I am required to read.

Another real quick example, is when 2 years ago, I was a H.S. Freshman and my English I teacher required that I read "1,000 Leagues beneath the sea" I HATED it. I did not understand it and I resorted to internet sources to find out what was happening when I had to do a report. And again last year my sophomore year I needed to read "In His Steps 'what would Jesus do?'" Again, HATED it! But, when I was required to choose a book to read and do a report on I chose my favorite book, "Prisoner of Night and Fog" by Anne Blankman. 100% Recommend it, and I thoroughly enjoyed that assignment.

Again, it all depends on the requirement.
