Answer:

1)Writers tone is the way that the author feels toward a subject. For example, In Charlotte's Web by E. B. White, although the book is sad, the tone is one of peace and acceptance.

2)An allusion is a figure of speech, that states something indirect or passing reference to some event, person, place, or artistic work, the background and relevance of which is not explained by the writer but relies on the reader's familiarity with what is stated.
