Answer:

Explanation:

From the information given , C = 90 , B = 40 and a = 40, A = 50

Solving using Sine rule ; a/ Sin A = b / Sin B = c/ Sin C

which implies

40/ Sin 50 = c/ Sin 90 , recall sin 90 = 1

then, 40/ Sin 50 = c/ 1

Cross multiply

c x Sin 50 = 40

c = 40/ Sin 50

c ≈ 52. 2163

Using the same procedure to find b

b/ Sin 40 = c/ Sin C

b/ Sin 40 = 52.2163/ 1

therefore b = 52.2163 x Sin 40

b≈ 33. 5640
