The angle at the top of the triangle is 8x + 4

The reason for this is because vertically opposite angles are equal

Mathematically;

8x + 4 + 3x - 6 = 130

The reason for this is that opposite interior angles equal the exterior angle

Thus;

8x + 3x + 4- 6 = 130

11x -2 = 130

11x = 130 + 2

11x = 132

x = 132/11

x = 12

The value of A is 3x - 6

A = 3(12)-6

A = 36-6

A = 30
