Answer:

Explanation:

First find the slope: 1-4/5-(-2)= -3/7

Then you put it into this formula with any one of the points:

y-y1= m(x-x1)

Y-(1)= -3/7(x-5)

Y-1= -3/7x + 2.14

Y= -3/7x + 3.14

Answer:

The only thing I can think of is the slope intercept form.

The slope of -2,4 and 5,1 is -3/7

The Y intercept is 22/7

y=-(3)/(7)x+(22)/(7)
