The correct answer is C) slavery.

Of all of the issues raised during the 1850s, the issue that most divided the Five Tribes was slavery.

The Five Tribes in colonial America were the Native American Indian tribes of the Cherokee, Creek, Chickasaw, Seminole, and Choctaw. When the English settlers started to arrive in the North America territory, they started to relate to these five tribes and though that these Indians were more civilized than other tribes in the region. In the 1800s and after the displacement they suffer from the Indian Removal Act, many of them were removed to what was known as the Indian Territory, what today is Oklahoma. One of the most important issues they faced in 1850 and that divided them was the issue of slavery.
