What is the height of a cone with a radius of 2 inches and volume of 6 in.³ round your answer to the nearest tenths place ?

The volume for cone formula is 1/3 πr²h. Substitute π and r into the equation and you should get the answer

Assuming π is 22/7,

1/3 × 22/7 × 2² × height = 6

height = 63/44 inches
