Explanation:

Let 2nd air. = x

Let 1st air. = x+112

Let 3rd air. = x-32

Total seats = 392

1st + 2nd + 3rd = 392

(×+112) + (x) + (x-32) = 392

x + 112 + x + x - 32 = 392

3x + 80 = 392

3x = 312

x = 312/3

= 104

1st aircraft = x+112

= 104 + 112

= 216 seats

2nd aircraft = 104 seats

3rd aircraft = x-32

= 104 - 32

= 72 seats
