A President is someone who will risk everything to protect the country that they signed up to serve for, there is an oath that every President of the United States of America has to commit and it states, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” As in a lot of people’s opinions Trump did not and ever will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States. A President is like a leader which is something Trump is not so we need someone to step up and show Trump how to do his job correctly instead of making everything worse. We lost a lot of American soldiers because Trump sent them off to countries that we had no business being in, like in Afghanistan on February 2020 the 2 US soldiers who were part of the 3rd Battalion of the 7th Special Forces Group, which is an Airborne unit, died during an ambush by Afghan military forces that never received the command to attack the US camp. America was looking for peace with the Afghans so the smart thing that Trump should have done so that there wouldn’t be more casualties than there already was, was to remove our troops out of Afghanistan so that the Afghans wouldn’t think that we were up to something and kill innocent US troops. Look I may be a teenager in high school but I’m not stupid and I pay a lot of attention to the news about the Presidents and try to see how much they mess up during their 4-year term, I care a lot about America but I am not going to run for President just because I love and care for the country because I know that I will mess up and I wish other people would do the same to protect our beloved country, but once I graduate high school when I’m 17, I am enlisting for either the United States Army or the United States Marine Corps because I love America and am willing to sacrifice my life to protect it no matter what is takes and I think that the President should do the same.
