We are told that the other acute angle is 1.5 times the other angle = 1.5x

The right angle = 90°

Find the value of x:

Therefore:

90 + 1.5x + x = 180 (sum of interior angles of triangle)

Add like terms

90 + 2.5x = 180

2.5x = 180 - 90

2.5x = 90

x = 90/2.5

x = 36° (one acute angle)

✔️Second acute angle = 1.5x

Plug in the value of x

= 1.5(36)

= 54°
