$40

Explanation:

(1 - 0.30)x = 28

Answer:

$40.00

Explanation:

I just multiplied 0.30 by each of the listed choices, and subtracted the answer from the choice. I found out that 40 x 0.30 = 12. After that, I subtracted 12 from 40, and got 28! I KNOW THIS IS A LONGER WAY TO FIND THE ANSWER,SORRY!
