Answer:

3054

Explanation:

The formula for cylinder volume is

V1 = π * r^2 *h

while formula for sphere volume is

V2= 4/3 * π * r^3

Since the height of the cylinder is 12, we can substitute h the equation into

V1 = π * r^2 *12

The volume and radius of the cylinder are the same as the sphere, so we can combine both equations to find r.

V1= V2

π * r^2 *12 = 4/3 * π * r^3

12 = 4/3 * r

r= 12*3/4

r=9

After we find the radius, we can find the sphere volume

V2= 4/3 * π * r^3

V2= 4/3 * π * 9^3

V2= 3053.62 = 3054
