Given that

√(2x-5) - √(x+6) = 0

√(2x-5) =√(x+6) equation (1)

square of the equation (1)

(√(2x-5))^2 =(√(x+6))^2

we know that √a*√a=(√a)^2=a.So

2x-5=x+6 after square.

2x-x=6+5 exchange value

x=11
