If k= -3, what is the value of k + (2k - 10)?

k + (2k -10)

-3+(2*-3-10)

do the bracket - mutiply first

(2*-3)= -6

-3+(-6-10)

-6-10= -16

-3+(-16)

+ positive sign and - negative sign= -negative sign

-3-16

Answer:

-19
