how would I solve this ​

Now to simplify it,

The first step is to cross multiply.

So, the expression becomes


(2)/((-2))  = 3(x-2)

or, -1 = 3x - 6

⇒ 3x = -1 + 6

⇒ 3x = 5 , or x =(5/3)
