X is 7/8 or if decimal is need it is 0.875

X-3/8=3/6
Add 3/8 to both sides, to leave the variable alone
X= 3/6-3/8
Use common denominators-8 (3/6 is 1/2)
X= 4/8-3/8
X=1/8
