In order to solve this you just have to insert the values into the formulas, remember to us pi as 3.14:

Circumference:
\pi *d

Area:
\pi *r^2

Since the diameter is 14 ft the radius will be 7, we insert the values into the formulas:


circumference=\pi *d\\circumference=3,14*14\\Circumference= 43,96\\Area= \pi *r^2\\Area=3,14(7)^2\\Area= 3,14*49\\Area= 153,86

So the area of the circular flower bed will be 153,86 ft^2 and the circumference will be 43,96ft
