The equation for volume is ‘area of the base * height = volume’
We are given the radius of the cylinder, so we can solve for the base area:
pi(r^2)
pi(5cm^2)
25cm^2(pi)
=78.54cm^2
With this, we can now use the volume formula to solve for the height. (Replace mL with cm^3)
78.54cm^2(height)=1000cm^3
Height=12.73cm
Final answer = 12.73cm
