Let x = 2. The solution of x + 4/3x is
(14)/(3)

Solution:

Given expression is
x+(4)/(3) x

Need to evaluate above expression when value of x is 2.

Let say expression
x+(4)/(3) x be represented by f(x)

\Rightarrow \mathrm{f}(x)=x+(4)/(3) x --- equation 1

As we need to evaluate value of f(x) when x = 2, we need value of f(2)

To get f(2) lets substitute x = 2 in equation 1

\begin{array}{l}{\Rightarrow \mathrm{f}(2)=2+(4)/(3) * 2} \\\\ {=>\mathrm{f}(2)=(14)/(3)}\end{array}

Hence value of expression
x+(4)/(3) x at x = 2 is
(14)/(3)
