p = pound of wasabi peas

o = onions

20 = 2.50p + 0.80(20)

0.80 * 20 = 16

20 = 2.50p + 16

Subtract 16 from each side

4 = 2.50p

Divide 4 by 2.5

1.6 = p

She can buy 1.6 pounds of peas.
