Answer:

The answer is -18

Explanation:

Slope of a line is defined as the change in y coordinate of the line to the change in its x coordinate.

If m is the slope of a line. Slope can then be expressed mathematically as;

Slope(m) = ∆y/∆x

Where ∆y = y2-y1

∆x = x2-x1

m = y2-y1/x2-x1

Given the points (x1,y1) = (34,12)

(x2,y2) = (32,48)

Where x1= 34, y1= 12, x2 = 32, y2 = 48

Substituting this value in the formula for calculating slope we have;

Slope = 48-12/32-34

Slope = 36/-2

Slope = -18

Therefore the slope of the line is -18
