A typical small bag of colored candies has about 135 candies in it, 27 of which is blue. At the rate, how many blue candies would u expect in a pile of 1000 colored candies?

135/27=1000/x

cross multiplication

1000*27=135x

27000=135x

27000/135=x

x=200
