1.Why can’t a triangle be congruent to a quadrilateral ?

2.Why can’t an isosceles triangle be congruent to a triangle that is not isosceles ?

I did it but my math teacher said it was wrong.

1. A triangle has three sides where as a quadrilateral has four sides.

2. in an isosceles two sides are equal ,in a non isosceles no two sides are equal.
