x=12

Explanation:

100 = 10^{2}

So we can multiple both sides by 10^{10} then we have

10^{x} = 10^{2} 10^{10}

Use exponent product law ( b^{c}b^{d} = b^{c+d} )

10^{x} = 10^{2+10} = 10^{12}

So for the equation to be true, exponents must be same, therefore

x = 12
