The resistance of the skin on a person's finger is typically about 64,000 Ω. How much voltage would be needed to cause a current of 0.001 A to flow into the finger? (This is about enough current to just be felt by most people.)

Answer: 64 V

Explanation: In order to explain this question we have to consider the OHM law which is given by:

V= R*I ( V is difference of potencial, R the resistance and I the current).

We must coinsider that the skin is a bad conductor and then we apply the above relationship between voltage and current, so

V=64000*0.001=64 V
