Answer:

k= 7

Explanation:

From what I am assuming you need k alone right? I hope this help you in anyway.

First off we have 2k - 32 = 3- 3k. So what? The what to that question is that we need to get k alone! How though? Well let give it a try!

Start

2k-32=3-3k (some people like to have the variable in front such as ...= -3k+3, I usually like it that way, but anyways)

2k-32=3-3k (we want to have one number on one side and a variable on the other)

1. So let try adding 3k on both sides.

2k-32=3-3k

+3k +3k (this will cancel out the (+) and (-) 3k leaving 3 alone)

5k-32=3 (Now we see the k variable is on one side, let get the number alone to)

2. We need to add a positive 32 to both sides. This will cause the +32 and the -32 to cancel out.

5k-32 = 3

+32 +32

5k= 35

We are almost done we just have to get k alone! How though? Well we can't add or subtract anything, how about we divide 5 on both sides

3. Let try dividing both sides of the equation by 5

5k= 35 or => 5k = 35 (either method would work)

5 5 5

5k/5= 1k or just k

35/5 = 7

So in this case k would equal to 7! But is that the answer how about we plug in 7 for k!

2k - 32 = 3 - 3k

2(7) -32 = 3- 3(7)

14-32= 3- 21

-18 = -18

Well there you go! k does equal to 7! I hope I helped you, if not don;t be afraid to comment or ask a question! I hope you have a great day :D
