ANSWER:

Johnny secured 3.695 CGPA.

SOLUTION:

Given, Johnny first semester GPA is 1.39.

And he got B for every subject in his second semester.

We have to calculate his CGPA

First let us calculate his GPA in second semester.

We know that, in semesters terminology B corresponds to 6 points.

As Johnny got 6 points in every subject, his GPA results to 6 points in second semester.

Now, CGPA
=\frac{\text { sum of GPAs in semesters }}{\text { number of semesters }}

=(1.39+6)/(2)=(7.39)/(2)=3.695

So, CGPA of Johnny is 3.695.

Hence, Johnny secured 3.695 CGPA
